High frequency spindle for bar turning

Electrospindles from 16 mm to 25mm in diameter, made entirely of stainless steel. Equipped with a synchronous motor with a forced-air cooling system, the spindle of 16mm in diameter can develop 113 W and 331 W for the one of 25mm in diameter. This represents no less than 25% of gain of power compared to electrospindles available on the market. With 4 lifelong lubricated ceramic ball bearings, the spindles can reach a speed of 80'000rpm and are exempt from any additional expensive lubrication. The cooling system and electrical wiring are cleverly built into a hermetic housing which prevents any liquid ingress and provides a single supply outlet at the back of the spindle. In addition, the 0 to 90° rotary fitting (patented fitting) combined with a mounting flange guarantee an efficient and reliable clamping and a radial orientation of the connectors. Finally, the electrospindle of 16mm in diameter is provided with a D6 collet, the electrospindle of 25mm in diameter with an ER8 collet.

To drive these electrospindles, a dedicated power unit incorporating a micro-controller and offering an ergonomic interface with a colour touchscreen is available. This unit enables to easily set the parameters according to your application and obtain real-time information, such as speed, power, or current consumption. Moreover, with an Ethernet port, it enables to receive details about spindle status and alarms but also to remote-controlled the spindle (optional) (Industry 4.0).
